Kasey Smith, MSW, LCSWA

Kasey Smith is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA). She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from North Carolina Central University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from North Carolina State University, Advanced Standing Program.

Kasey is deeply committed to supporting children, adolescents, and young adults as they are navigating life challenges. Kasey's social work background has equipped her with a unique understanding of the complexities encountered by families from diverse backgrounds in crises. Kasey has specialized training in supporting adolescents who are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and suicidal attempts.

Kasey utilizes various therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Relational Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. By collaborating closely with her clients, Kasey tailors their treatment plans to meet their unique needs. Kasey’s non-judgmental approach is rooted in empathy, understanding, and a deep commitment to empower her clients to thrive. With a deep appreciation for the interconnectedness of mental health, socioeconomic factors, and community support, Kasey creates a safe space for clients to explore their struggles and discover their strengths.
